Hope so Ramadan is turning good for all you. Happy Mother’s day to all the
Mothers who are reading my post and I pay you the utmost gratitude on your
unmentioned and unnamed sacrifices.
Now we turn to our topic under discussion which is "
THE HYPER AND SILENT
AUDIENCE OF SOCIAL MEDIA". First of all it’s really important to learn the
concepts of the hyper, moderate and silent audience of Social Media. Those who
never or rarely engage on Social Media platforms are the
SILENT USERS of Social
Media while those who have a moderate engagement on Social Media are the
MODERATE USERS. Third category comprises of people who play their most roles in
engaging on the Social Media are the
HYPER or
FREQUENT USERS of Social Media. These
three categories show a great effect on Social Media and this can be seen in
the form of views, likes, comments, tags, saves and shares too. The thing for
which we are here is, “Does social media allows us to put any type of comment
under someone’s post or does it really gives us the right or permission to
highlight someone’s content according to our own viewpoint. I think the answer
is Yes and a No. We live in a mature environment and it should be obligatory
for us to create a community which is always willing for peace and also contributes
in peace making. This is only possible if we bind ourselves to certain amount
of rules and proceed within these set rules and boundaries. May be it sounds
quirky but this is true that public accounts on Social Media are completely
effected by our activity and engagement, whether our actions are positive or
negative they play a major role on social media platforms. Many examples are
available in the past and present when certain actions taken by people on
Social Media have caused an adverse effect on the lives of public figures and
many organizations too. Let’s consider some conditions and the suitable actions
which should be taken in them:

It works best to spread awareness and promoting
social campaigns. Participating in welfare campaigns is too significant and it contributes
in the composition of a friendly environment.

Another thing which should be kept in mind is
that we should always promote such content which aims to help a needy person or
transference of which causes healthy effect for any person or victim. For
example, fund raising, donations or providing confidence and help to the
victims suppressed to any hardship.

Always take permissions from the Social Media
pages whose content you want to share on your accounts.

Whenever you want to share something regarding
politics, serious and critical situation or anything surrounded by allegations,
please verify the news from all the possible sources you can and then share it
with your people. Do share the evidences with the news/update you have posted in
order to promote transparency between you. This will help you gain confidence
of your viewers.

Don’t use foul language on someone else’s
content. It shows disrespect for the person or organization on whose post you have
commented.
- ·
We have often heard “Think before you speak”.
The same case applies in here. Whenever you add a comment you must be aware of
the words you’re choosing and the effect they’re producing in front of the
creator of that particular post.

Always remember, “If you can’t speak well then
be quiet”. Something stands as fun thing for you but at the same time it has
got a perspective in another light for someone else. Facebook, Instagram and
Twitter are the public platforms where huge amount of audience records whatever
they see in their minds. Therefore we should always share something meaningful
with this audience. Trust me, it will always highlight your image in the eyes
of other people who surf on Social Media.
These rules can be called as the “Ethics of Social Media”
which we can obey while we are active on Social Media and following these rules
will also help you increase your own good will in front of social figures and
